Bakugan: New Vestroia[]

Premo Vulcan makes his debut in Taste of Defeat when Gus battled Spectra Phantom in a flashback at Alpha City. He started off using Fiblo to block Viper Helios General Quazer. Helios then uses Omega and attacks Vulcan with a full shot causing him to get flung up then fall down and lose. It is soon seen in ball form when Gus talks to him about how they now serve Spectra and the Vexos. Later, He battles Dan Kuso and Neo Dragonoid. In round 1, he starts off by flying up to Drago and punching him to the ground. Dan then uses Pyrus reactor and activates Fire Tornado and Burning Dragon which Vulcan avoids by using heavy Ageas. Vulcan then uses Titan Knuckle and slams Drago down hard. Dan then sends out Scorpion to aid Drago. Drago and Scorpion attack together and knock Vulcan on his back. Vulcan then gets his arm back and uses Pyrus Durance knocking Drago and Scorpion out thus winning round 1. In round 2, Gus activates Subtera reactor and sends out Hexados to aid Vulcan. Hexados goes underground and attacks Scorpion taking him out of the battle. Dan then uses a triple ability and took Hexados out, but Vulcan uses Fiblow and blocks Dan's attack. Drago keeps attacking but Vulcan blocks every shot then uses Drill impact and knocks Drago down. Drago then gets beaten by Vulcans uppercut while trying to protect Dan causing Vulcan to win the Brawl.

In Return of a Friend, Premo Vulcan appears in a flashback where Dan has nightmares over his loss to Gus. He then tells Drago they should pratice to get ready for Gus. The next Day Vulcan challenges Neo Dragonoid to a battle once again. In round 1, Gus opens Subterra reactor then uses Titan Knuckle and grabs hold to Drago while the Knuckle knocks him down. Drago uses burst Sheild to avoid the attack, but it does nothing as Dan still lost the round due to Drago's power being lower. In round 2, Dan opens Pyrus reactor and sends Scorpion out to aid Drago. Both attack Vulcan with burning Dragon and Satalte boost giving him some difficulty. Vulcan then uses Pryus Durance to get rid of the shots, but it is still useless as Drago knocks him out with a headbutt. In round 3, he aids Hyper Dragonoid by getting rid of Drago's triple ability by using Heavy ages. The two have Drago down for the count until Shun Kazami arrives to aid Dan in battle thus causing him and Hyper Dragnoid to battle Ingram, Hylash and Drago. Hylash attacks Vulcan with Thunder power glimmering Slash and Ingram attacks with wind power soring Strike shot. This causes Vulcan to get knocked out and lose the brawl. The whole Brawl ends in a loss for Gus and Spectra after Drago uses a perfect core ablity called Strike Dragon to beat Helios.

in Unmasked, he battles Thunder Wilda and later Baliton alongside Hexados in a amusement park on Earth noting that the land may give him strength. In round 1 he fights Thunder Wilda and uses Titan knuckle, causing Mira Fermin to use gun lock to block the attack. It does nothing and Wilda gets knocked down. Vulcan then uses screw jolt causing Wilda to use Clay wall to block his fists. Wilda than taunts Vulcan causing Vulcan to tell Wilda that the fight isn't over yet. He uses Titan knuckle again causing Wilda to use sand beast. His fists go right though Wilda's body. Wilda then uses quicksand fold causing him to sink. Gus sends out Hexados to help out Vulcan. Hexados wraps up Wilda using land twist. Julie Makimoto tells Mira to heat the battle up causing him to use Molten rock causing Wilda to throw Hexaods on Vulcan and losing round 1. In round 2, he uses titan knuckle causing Wilda to use clay wall. Gus however isn't fooled and uses Heavy ages to break the wall. His fists hit Wilda and knock him down. Mira sends out Baliton and uses clay roller and rushes towards Vulcan. He uses Fiblow and blocks the attack causing Wilda and Balton to hit each other winning him the round. In round 3, Wilda and Baltion use Aplon head trapping Vulcan. Wilda uses Iron plate and makes Vulcan's color change. Gus sends out Hexados and Wilda uses ground denotator trapping Hexados. Vulcan then uses Titan knuckle and Screw impact, causing Wilda to use Copycat thus copying the attack. Wilda's attack is much stronger and hits Vulcan causing him to clash with Hexados and thus lose the Brawl.

In Show Me the Power! Vulcan is mentioned when Gus asks Spectra to join him in his battle with Dan saying that he might need Vulcan's help. Spectra however declines saying he must battle Dan alone.

In Reunion, after the final Dimension Controller is destroyed, Vulcan is released from ball form and frees Gus from the jail that Lync Volan put him in. Gus rides him out of Vestal Place trying to find Spectra. However he finds Mega Brontes and Elico who tells them that Mylene Farrow threw them out like trash. Vulcan and Elico then helped an injured Cyborg Helios onto the Vestal Destroyer. He, Elico and Bronties look over Helios as he promises revenge on Drago.

In Spectra Rises, Vulcan, Mega Brontes, and Elico have forced evolutions due to their owner, Gus, using the Forbidden Ability Cards Chaos Ability X on them. In this way, Premo Vulcan evolves into Rex Vulcan while Elico and Bronties evolve into Blast Elico and Alto Brontes.

  • His flying knuckle attack and name seems to be a reference to the various flying knuckle attacks seen in the Mazinger series by Go Nagi.
  • As a toy, it has a "punching attack" when you spin it to the right.
  • Premo Vulcan is the only Bakugan in Bakugan: Defenders of the Core whose charged attack isn't for long range. Instead, his charged attack creates a large explosion that blows back all incoming targets.
