This article is about a Mechanical Trap Bakugan. For the Season 1 Bakugan, see Fourtress.

Fortress (フォートレス) is Shadow Prove's Mechanical Bakugan Trap. It takes the form of a cube-like Zoack but has a more circular body when it opens (opposed to Zoack's more square form).

Information[]

Description[]

Fortress is a robotic Bakugan Trap used by Shadow. Fortress links to Hades to form multiple attack options that make him almost unbeatable. Ten cannons stick out from his hands and legs, and rockets below his feet allow him to fly to avoid enemy fire.

Anime[]

Bakugan: New Vestroia[]

Shadow used Fortress for the first time to battle against Shun Kazami in Last One Standing, where he and Hades defeated Ingram and Hylash.

Shadow used Fortress again in Shadow Attack. It battled against Fourtress but ended up defeated. Fortress is never used again after this, although its possible it was still in Shadow's possession when he and Mylene Farrow were lost is an alternate dimension due to the Death Bomb malfunctioning inside Bakugan Interspace, during An Heir To Spare meaning Fortress was most likely lost with them.

Hundreds of Pyrus Fortress appeared throughout All for One and Final Fury, used by King Zenoheld. Bit by bit the army was laid to waste, and the final legions were destroyed in the explosion of the Alternative's demise.

Ability Cards[]

  • Photon Rain: Subtracts 200 Gs from the opponent. (Darkus)
  • Proton Mars: Adds 200 Gs to Fortress. (Darkus)
  • Crossfire: Nullifies the opponent's ability, subtracts 300 Gs from each opponent, and adds 300 Gs to Fortress. (Darkus, Pyrus)

Trivia[]

  • The two attributes it was shown in were one of the Attribute pairs that existed among the Dual Attribute Gatekeepers.
  • In Bakugan: Defenders of the Core, it was the most used Trap Bakugan.
