HSP cards are cards that were made before Bakugan Battle Brawlers. HSP stood for Holo Sector Points, the number of points a player won for capturing specific Gate Cards in addition to their respective Attribute bonus points (when applicable).

Some differences between the HSP cards and current cards are:

• HSP values
• Command Cards etc rather than Gold, Silver and Bronze
• Negative bonuses
• Aesthetic changes
• Foil Cards unnamed
