Blast From the Past is the 44th episode of Bakugan: Mechtanium Surge. It aired on January 7th, 2012.

Plot[]

After destroying Bakugan City, Mechtavius Destroyer goes to New Vestroia to eliminate all the Bakugan, but his plans are disrupted by the Brawlers' Bakugan of the past. Unfortunately, their attempts to overpower Mechtavius Destroyer fail, and are all killed. Back in the Doom Dimension, Worton tells the Brawlers about the Current of Time, which he discovered and used to advise Balista not to tell Wiseman the secrets about him in attempt to save his own life; the Brawlers proceed in order to escape the Doom Dimension. As the Current of Time strengthens, the Brawlers' memories play out including Betadron's, who witnesses the fate of the Nonets (besides Balista) the hands of Mechtavius Destroyer. The Brawlers also see the destruction of Bakugan City and New Vestroia and his intentions to destroy Vestal, Gundalia and Neathia. Worton and Betadron sacrifice themselves in order for the Brawlers to successfully exit the Doom Dimension. As The Brawlers confront Mechtavius Destroyer, they warn him that he will be defeated this time and the final battle begins.

Deleted Scene[]

  • Betadron says that Mechtavius can't destroy the Bakugan and he is angry because of those Mechtogans after Taylean shot his cannons.
  • After Worton seem to disappear from the Volcano Island, he is seen again saying to Balista "What do you need to talk with me?", which Balista wondered.
  • Skytruss and Orbeum appears discussing if they can go back in time, before Dan said to keep the formation.
  • Another deleted scene is that Skytruss and Orbeum, also have a vision where they combine with Jaakor for the first time.

Trivia[]

  • This mark the return of most of the Brawler's Bakugan in the Past Seasons. They were not destroyed since the Brawlers used the current of time. As it was just a vision in what would have happen thus they were all brought back to life.
  • This is the only episode on Arc 2 of Season 4 where it featured a talking Bakugan moving its mouth (in this case, Minx Elfin since Preyas did not move his mouth in this episode.)
